Gretchen's work installed at new Minneapolis Canopy By Hilton Hotel!
Gretchen was approached by DLR Group (local architectural & design firm for the project) and Kalisher (artwork consultants for the project) regarding one of her large scale original pen line drawings, for installation in the lobby of the hotel. Gretchen worked with local company Arts District Imageworks in NE Minneapolis to scan her large drawing so that Kalisher print the drawing image on a canvas background at the client’s specified size, and frame it, for the space.
Gretchen’s piece fits so well in the gorgeous lobby space of Canopy By Hilton Hotel in the Mill District of Minneapolis with its eclectic design aesthetic juxtaposed against the historic Thresher building’s exposed brick & wood beams, natural textures and black & white accents. Check it out if you are in the area! This original piece is available for acquisition, in addition to prints at any size!
